High Ticket Closers

Privacy

How High Ticket Closers handles the personal information you give us when you apply.

Who is accountable

High Ticket Closers is an operating name of Workify Inc., Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We are accountable for the personal information in our custody under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Our privacy contact is privacy@highticketclosers.ca.

What we collect

  • What you type into the application form: name, email, phone, city, the role you selected, your experience level and any notes.
  • Records of our correspondence with you — emails, texts and call notes.
  • Technical information sent by your browser when you submit the form: IP address, user agent, and the page you came from.
  • Where you applied through a job board or we found your public listing, the information that source made available.

We do not ask for your Social Insurance Number, date of birth, banking details or immigration status as part of applying. If a role legally requires a licence or a background check, we will tell you before that stage and ask separately.

Why we collect it

  • To assess whether you fit the role you applied for.
  • To contact you about that application.
  • Where you consented, to contact you about other roles that match your background.
  • To meet our record-keeping obligations, including the three-year retention that applies to job postings and applications.

We use software, including artificial intelligence, to help sort and rank applications. It never issues a final decision on its own — a person reviews and signs off on every decision to decline.

Consent, and taking it back

Applying gives us consent to contact you about that application. The checkbox on the form is a separate, express consent to send you commercial electronic messages about other roles.

You can withdraw that consent at any time. Every email carries an unsubscribe link at https://app.highticketclosers.ca/u/…, texts accept STOP, and you can email privacy@highticketclosers.ca. We action unsubscribes promptly and in any case within 10 business days, as CASL requires. Withdrawing consent for marketing does not withdraw your application.

Who we share it with

Your information is shared with the contractor or employer hiring for the role you applied to, and with the service providers who run our systems — hosting, email delivery, and e-signature. Those providers act on our instructions and may not use your information for their own purposes.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.

Some providers store or process data outside Canada, which means it may be subject to the laws of that country, including lawful access by its authorities. Our primary database is hosted in Canada.

How long we keep it

Applications and the postings they relate to are kept for three years after the role closes or after our last contact with you, whichever is later, because Ontario requires it. Consent and unsubscribe records are kept longer, since the burden of proving consent under CASL falls on us. After that, records are deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct anything inaccurate, ask us to delete it, or ask how it has been used and who has seen it. Email privacy@highticketclosers.ca. We respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

Security

Access to applicant records is restricted to the recruiters who need it, enforced at the database level rather than only in the application. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. No system is perfect; if a breach creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and the Privacy Commissioner as the law requires.
